ONLINE STORE TERMS

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

You agree not to use our products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.

Any breach of these terms may result in termination of service.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, images and pricing are accurate. However:

  • Colours may vary slightly due to lighting or screen settings
  • Minor variations in stitching or finish may occur

We reserve the right to modify product descriptions, pricing or availability at any time without notice.

ORDERS

All orders must be paid for at checkout.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected
  • There is an error in pricing or product information

Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

SHIPPING & DISPATCH

All items are carefully checked prior to dispatch.

For quality assurance and to protect both the business and its customers, the checking, packing and sealing of orders may be recorded. This may take place during live sessions or off live.

These records may be retained to ensure accuracy and to assist in resolving any disputes.

Proof of packing and postage may also be retained.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Nothing within these policies affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

PREORDER & DEPOSITS

HerEdits offers a preorder service which allows customers to secure selected items through a deposit.

By placing a deposit, you confirm your commitment to purchase an item that will be sourced on your behalf.

  • A deposit is required to secure an item
  • Items are only purchased once a deposit has been received
  • Deposits are deducted from the final balance

Payment Terms

The remaining balance must be paid within 48 hours of confirmation.

Items will only be dispatched once full payment has been received.

Failure to complete payment within this timeframe will result in cancellation. The deposit will be retained and the item may be resold.

Sourcing & Commitment

Once a deposit has been paid, HerEdits will source and purchase the item specifically on your behalf.

As this is a committed purchase, deposits are non-refundable once sourcing has begun.

Items not paid within the stated timeframe may be released and resold at our discretion.

Consumer Rights

Where items are sourced specifically for you, this may fall under the exception for personalised or bespoke goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

SALE EDIT & LIVE CLAIMS

Items purchased through The Sale Edit and selected Live Claims collections are:

  • excluded from free shipping promotions
  • considered final sale/non-returnable unless faulty or significantly not as described under UK consumer law.

  • Purchasing items with disclosed faults, imperfections, marks, signs of wear, or minor defects clearly shown or stated prior to purchase, you acknowledge and accept the item’s condition at the time of sale.

BANK TRANSFER (LIVE SALES)

Items sold during live sessions are presented in real time and sold as seen.

Purchases made via bank transfer and live claim sales are generally considered final sale unless an item is faulty or significantly not as described under UK consumer law.

By completing a bank transfer, you confirm that:

  • You are satisfied with the item as shown and described
  • You have had the opportunity to view the item
  • You understand that items are sold as seen

Payment Terms

Payment must be completed promptly to secure your item.

Items are not considered sold until payment is received.

Unpaid claims may be released if payment is not received within the stated timeframe.

Dispatch & Proof

All items are checked prior to dispatch.

Packing and sealing may be recorded for quality assurance and dispute protection.

Proof of packing and postage may be retained.

Agreement

By completing a bank transfer, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this policy.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including logos, images, text and branding, is the property of HerEdits and may not be copied, reproduced or used without permission.

Unauthorised use of HerEdits intellectual property may result in appropriate legal action where necessary.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

HerEdits shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of products.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law.


FAIR USE & CONDUCT

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict future purchases where misuse of policies, repeated claims, or suspected fraudulent behaviour is identified.


CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.

Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
